I have always loved making things with my hands. And I have learned that for optimal balance, I need to allow my super analytical mind to relax and let my creative side take over once in a while. So that, combined with my love of perfume and all-things-that-smell-good, plus going down a random rabbit hole in Pinterest once day is what led me to try soap making at home. I started with melt and pour (aka super basics) and eventually took the huge leap to cold process (aka working with lye and designing my own soap recipes with oils and butters). That was the summer/fall of '21...
I thought to myself, "What am I going to do with all this soap?" So I started giving them away to neighbors, friends, and family. The response was amazing, so I trusted the universe and kept going! I did my first post on NextDoor to sell my soaps and customers loved them as stocking stuffers and holiday gifts. I sold out of soap within a couple of months!
Since then (and 36 recipes later), I have found my perfect soap recipe and continue experimenting with scents, colors, and designs. I love every single second of the process and I believe my passion and joy are reflected in these beautiful, unique bars of luxurious soap.
In fact, you may have already seen me walking around town with our two German Shepherds, Roxie and Nymeria. We are avid walkers and get out as often as we can, especially since I work full-time from home now.
Feel free to reach out with any questions, feedback (I'm all about continuous improvement), or how I can make a custom batch of soap just for you!
